A priori, I have little respect for non-founder CEOs.
AFAICT, non-founder CEOs are usually selected for their ability to navigate an organization without pissing others off.
Founder CEOs of large successful long-living companies (at least 7-8 years) survive the trial by fire.

It's very rare for an outsider non-founder to pull such ballsy, customer focussed moves that work.
