Obama repeatedly urged Biden to reconsider running for President and warned Biden he was “better off” sticking to his promise not to seek the Presidency.
Members of Obama’s 2012 campaign called Biden’s gaffes “Joe Bombs,” and were keenly aware of the need to keep tabs on Biden while he was on the campaign trail.
