Here's a list of things you should not do as a person. It's kind of long, but not all encompassing.
1) When someone tells you they've been sexually harassed, don't advise they stay quiet to "avoid unnecessary drama". The drama is necessary.

2) When you know someone has sexually harassed people, do not continue to promote their books. Do not include their books in your book boxes. Do not review / post their books & urge people to buy them.

3) When that person ignores your advice and comes forward anyway, SPEAK UP IN SUPPORT without waiting for other popular voices to do it first. Don't use your business as a reason why you're staying silent on something that hurts other people.

4) When the person coming forward is further harassed by friends of the harasser, don't go on to use your platform to PROMOTE THIS PERSON on every website that will accept you. It sends a clear and direct message to the woman that came forward, & that message is not good. (4/?)
5) When the woman who comes forward begins to distance herself from you because of your shitty treatment over the last few months, don't remove her from your review team and then go on social media talking about how you wish people would "just talk".

6) When someone unfollows or blocks you on social media, do not reach out to them to demand they explain themselves. Accept the decision and move on.

7) AND FINALLY: When you've done something shitty, OWN UP TO IT. Do not pretend to be a victim seeking allies when you have repeatedly shown that you are not on the side of those victimized and hurt. Be an adult, and learn from your mistakes.

If you are the kind of person that does these things, please don't be surprised when it comes out, and when people are unhappy with you. Do not act like it's a mission out to get you, like there's no reason for this, like this is random. You know it isn't. Our anger is justified.
