The Truman Show movie and The Americans TV show indicate that there is a precident of not just subversion, psyop, or espionage,

but that these missions are undertaken at times not just by agents but LIFETIME actors: those that live a false life to achieve a collective end

In both media installments, and those like them, the facade is oddly promoted, excused or justified, even by those they affect.

In the Truman show, national audiences tune in. In The Americans, it is state sponsored, and even an FBI agent (!) allows it to go unpunished

In the Truman Show, we see that all aspects of your life; friends, family, sexual interests, MEDIA, news, work, can all be manipulated to keep you in the dark or get you to think/act a certain way. Truman has no free will essentially, but propaganda maintains his illusion of it

In The Americans, we see that your “average” American family are overtly and subversively working against the West. Assassination, sabotage, and espionage in the name of Communism, as well as subtle assaults on morality through their life (sex, atheism, drugs, crime, etc)

Takeaway? Fiction scarcely deviates from reality. More often than not you see movies or shows that aren’t touted as “true” but have clear basis on fact. For instance, Tom Clancy was approached by feds because he pieces together stories from sources close to the real deal.

Ian Fleming’s books and subsequent 007 movies are speculated to be more fact based than people think, following a trend that “fictional” tech or plots in media either happened, are happening or will happen. Think back to my thread about media introducing new ideas and extrapolate

So, if we see ultimate manipulation in Truman Show, as well as Lifetime Actors in this and Americans, we have to think there is a VERY real possibility that they exist around us today. People so devoted to a cause they live a charade 24/7

Celebrities, elites, politicians etc. I think in part of their workings and schemings, some have become essentially “lifetime actors” in that their entire existence is a crafted display to manipulate and influence the masses. This may sound intuitive but it is very sinister

It becomes important to realize that there are people out there willing to devote all they are and have to their ideologies, often in service to the Father of Lies. They exist as a lie; they cannot be trusted. They serve human endeavors with dishonesty. They do not serve God.

Certain organizations very much in the public eye “spring up” as “grassroots”, but they do not operate, recruit, or exist organically; as reflected in The Americans, they may have sinister state backing with lifetime actors and deep cover agents.

Questions of how politicians/elites would “gain” by certain activities is a moot point because they devote their whole being to the cause as lifetime actors. “Benefit” is irrelevant. Think of the most unselfish saint devoted not to God but the world. It is disturbingly plausible

I’ll leave with this, I have mentioned before on @PatrickTrad ‘s show how many elites have overcome loss. If a lifetime actor, this could be tying up a loose end to keep the game going, or a satanic sacrificial part of a “pact”. Least concrete part of this thread, but a thought.
