It’s that time again when we need a glossary of FPL terms for the uninitiated

Over performing xG = Didn’t own him
Under performing xG = Did own him
Awkward Price = Can’t afford him
Price Point = Price
Season Keeper = One blank & he’s toast
Essential = Not Essential

Wildcard = swap all your players in exchange for fewer points
Free Hit = same as Wildcard except you get the players back who just shafted you the previous week
All Out Attack = allows you to play an extra Striker who will anyway end up being benched. Thankfully extinct

Bench Boost = 8 more points
DGW = Triple up on terrible teams
BGW = Triple up on terrible teams
Rotation proof = Burnley players
Nailed on = Burnley players
Differential = Scores fewer points
Punt = See ‘Differential’
Variance = like luck but sounds cooler
Theo Walcott = Delete
