The WSW Energy Center is 15% MORE EFFICIENT after undergoing the repower. Cool, you say, but what does that actually mean?
The repower included an upgrade to newer, more efficient turbine technology, including 91-meter blades. Longer blades = increased wind capture at lower speeds = improved efficiency and performance.
Ultimately, the repower made an already outstanding #renewable resource more so. Our #wind farm is capable of generating enough electricity to power more than 12,700 homes.
