Kamala knows Trump made the North Korea problem worse: “traded a photo op for nothing… he has in every way compromised our ability to have any influence on slowing down or at least having a check and balance on North Korea's nuclear program.” 3/7
Kamala hasn’t endorsed no first-use as far as I know, but opposes parts of nuclear modernization, including low-yield nukes: “Low-yield nuclear weapons…will make us less safe by increasing the likelihood of a nuclear escalation.” 4/7
Kamala goes hard in the paint on the political threat from China: “China’s abysmal human rights record must feature prominently in our policy toward the country…I stand with the people of Hong Kong.” 5/7
Kamala recognizes that North-South inequality is a strategic problem: “Foreign aid isn’t charity—it’s in our interest.” 6/7
Issues of less clarity/or potential blind spots:
--Corruption, kleptocracy
--China decoupling
--Military superiority, Pentagon reform
--Big Tech
--Use of force philosophy
