Paris ENS is France’s top school and agregation there is highly competitive. This year, due to COVID they cancelled the orals, only had the (anonymous) written exam. As a result ~80% of successful candidates were women. 8-0. Eighty.

Women usually represent ~40% of ENS agrégés
To be clear, those are the results for entry to ENS, not agrégation. Still, given that an agrégation from ENS is considered to be the summum of academic achievement for future teachers, and agrégation itself a rite of passage toward the PhD, it is quite significant.
Similar results in Lyon, apparently. https://twitter.com/melaniedubs/status/1290599936988520448?s=21

In case some of us are interested in learning more about unconscious bias and ways to mitigate it, I highly recommend this module developed by the Research Councils here in Canada.
