After posting my transformation pic today morning, lots of people asked me about weight loss, workout and diet in tweets and DMs. So posting everything I know about it here. LONG THREAD ALERT.
Weight loss depends upon three main factors.

1. Food intake (60% of weight loss depends on the food you eat daily)

2. Workouts (35% of your weight loss depends on the workout you do daily)

3. Consistency of your diet and workouts. Consistency is everything.
The number of calories you get daily through your food should never exceed the no of calories you consume through workouts and day to day activities
Weight loss without workouts is possible ONLY IF you follow Paleo or Keto diets. They’re rich in protein and fibre and has zero carbs. So you don’t have to workout if you follow these two diets.
If you don’t follow these diets, there is no other way but you must have to workout on a daily basis. But first, let’s see about food intake.
The very first thumb rule is to, cut as much carbs and sugar as possible. Increase intake of nuts, fruits, veggies and non veg foods. (No oil fried strictly)
I personally did cut down milk and rice completely. And did portion control for every meal. I ate a lot of nuts all the time. They help you massively in carb cravings. Nuts are MUST in your diet.
Have lots of Cheese, Paneer and mushrooms if you’re vegetarian. If you’re non vegetarian, plz eat all kinds of fresh meat as much as possible. But never oil fry the meat.
Have eggs almost for every meal. Eggs have very high rich protein and various vitamins. They’re must have.
STRICTLY SAY NO TO JUNK FOODS, PROCESSED FOODS, BAKERY PRODUCTS, AND OIL FRIED FOODS AND SUGAR IN ANY FORM
Now we see about workouts. I am doing running, yoga, weight lifting 🏋️‍♀️ and then jump ropes (skipping) on a daily basis. Remember consistency is most important thing here.
A BAD WOKROUT IS STILL A WORKOUT. A BAD WORKOUT STILL BURNS CALORIES THAN SITTING SIMPLY.
You can do any kind of workouts. But you should do daily. (Of course you can take one or two days break. But to get back to the routine is most important). Consistency is important.
You can do HIIT, cycling, running, basic brisk walking, yoga, weight lifting, skipping aka hump ropes (best calorie burning exercise). Pick workouts that suits your body type best. Only then you will be consistent.
Don’t over push yourself daily. It must be slow development. You can’t climb Everest within a day. Start slowly and then improve on it each and every week.
Me personally when I started, I could only walk I can’t run because of my weight. So to finish 1 km walk, I took 13 minutes to walk a km. But now, after losing weight I can run and it takes just 5 minutes for me to finish a km.
Just do what you’re comfortable with. But keep in mind to improve on it every week. Goals are meant to be shattered.
That’s all about workouts. Cardio (running, walking, jump ropes) and Strenth raining (weight lifting) both types of workouts are equally important. Cardio helps your heart while strength training improves muscles in your whole body.
Some people may tell you weight lifting is unnecessary. But the truth here is, weight lifting is equally important. It strengthens your muscles and that helps in burning calories.
Also don’t check your weight on daily basis. Just check once in two three days. That should do.
If your weight seems to have increased a bit from previous times please don’t worry. That happens at times but you have to keep working on daily. You will see desired results soon.
So that’s it! This is what all I’ve known. I followed this and I’m getting desired results.
