This is your regular reminder that all journalism contains bias because it is created by humans. This will always be the case. It will be the case even if one day journalism is written by computers because humans program computers and have biases.
Every human brings a unique set of circumstances that will influence what they see, what they don't see, what they think is newsworthy, what sources they include or exclude, what they highlight in the headline, ad infinitm. Every decision is a result of a human's bias.
That doesn't mean journalism can never be *fair*. Just that "bias" isn't an insult. Every single person has biases and always will. It's how we recognize, address and compensate for those biases that matter.
