• LMM started with no audience

• LMM's aim is to help people grow through his online articles

• LMM wants to help people live a better life

• LMM wants to help people at scale
• LMM had no social media accounts before LMM

• Started from scratch. Learned the ropes

• LMM is a powerful name, also a marketing-friendly one
LMM knew from the start that he wanted to talk about Life and Money, and the word 'Math' provided a great filter for low IQ people (haha); slows his growth rate, but increases the quality of his audience
• LMM is a controversial person in real life

• LMM also aimed for that in his online presence, but the state of him being 'controversial' is actually a natural way for him to express himself

• there's a fine line between being an a**hole and being honest
• you have to know what you are talking about

• create valuable content

• if the marketing is great and the content is bad, the growth rate will decline

• reply to other people in your niche, but do that with valuable content
The downsides of being an anonymous account:

• it sometimes hurts conversion as people are reluctant buying thing from people they don't know

• people try to copy you quite a lot, but that won't work for them in the long run
• 1000 followers took LMM some work

• he was making his tweets in-between-work

• Most of them = replies to bigger accounts, adding value to their tweet

• took him 3 months to get to 2000 followers
• with 2000+ followers he started more direct tweets the goal was to get readers see the content that can help them

• he started a newsletter

• compound interest is not really intuitive for us humans

• we can hardly understand and comprehend exponential growth
Every business has a risk when you are using someone else's platform
the reason LMM does not own more accounts is that it might be too hard to manage and sync them together.

Keep things simple at first.
• He is an entrepreneur, has a Consultant Business and an Affiliate Marketing Agency

• Doing things for money is not very sustainable. Not doing it for the money actually gets you more money.
• his main goal is still to drive people to the high-quality articles on his website so that he can help them grow

• he is not aiming for very commercial sales strategies

• he wants to add tons of value first and then do the ask. Jab, jab, jab, right hook.
• if he had to start a new account today, he'd be in the same place in 1 year and a half

• do not spam 1 person repeatedly

• a good way to produce tweets is to write valuable articles

• he enjoys reading books and underlines sentences; converts those into tweets
• automation software really helps global coverage and creative flows

• automate the things you can automate in your business

• don't cheat

• create content that helps people and the algorithm will help you

That is the best way to grow.
