When Atikaya was killed by Laxman in the battlefield, Indrajeet came to lead the Ravana army. He was equipped with Divya Chariot and had reinforced his weapons and shields with Yagya for his victory.

He defeated each and every Vanar warriors that day. Not only them but he used BrahmAstra and injured both Shri Ram and Laxman. When he saw that everyone including both Princes is lying unconscious on ground, he returned to Lanka celebrating his victory.

He had killed 67 crore Vanar warriors that day in 12 ghadi that is 4 hr and 45 minutes.

Vibhishan and Hanuman who were still Conscious started looking for those warriors who were still alive and needed help.

When Vibhishan reached to Jambvan, he asked about well being of Hanuman. Amazed, Vibhishan asked, "Why didn't you asked about Ram, Laxman, Sugreev, Angad. They are more important than Hanuman in the priority list."

Jambvan said, If Hanuman is fine and doing okay, everyone else can be saved. If Hanuman is not okay, consider ourselves doomed.

Later that night, upon advice of Jambvan Hanuman brought those 4 Sanjeevani Herbs from Himalayas between Mount Rishabh and Mount Kailash

and resurrected and cured all the Vanar warriors and Shri Ram and Laxman. Such was the importance of Hanuman among his friends and army.
