Dear all of #STLCards twitter: Please remember half of the starting roster is still on the Covid IL, and the other half spent nearly 3 weeks locked in rooms, unable to workout. Most of the replacements are not yet ready for big league action.
They are trying to play an absurd amount of games, in a really short period of time. Half the coaching staff is unable to travel. Not exactly an ideal formula for success. What if we, as "the best fans in baseball", quit acting like rabid hyenas on this platform?
What if we actually just supported our team, and appreciate that they are trying to play ball? Easy way out would have been to just quit. But, they're doing everything possible to give us a season, and I, for one, am grateful I get to watch them play.
