Just drove to my small rural northern Michigan town in time to see a flatbed truck leaving Post Office with 3 mail delivery trucks loaded up
I would have taken a photo but I was driving on the road & passed me going the opposite direction & I had someone behind me.

I don't want to say which town but *I will* call my @SenGaryPeters & give him all of the details.
I just DM'd @GaryPeters so he'll get the details of what I saw & where
The Postal Service plans to purchase 37,768 commercial off-the-shelf vehicles, including 30,608 right-hand drive vehicles and 7,160 left-hand drive vehicles over a three-year period beginning in FY 2020 to meet immediate vehicle needs, replace high maintenance cost LLVs...
"plans to" - did U notice that?

So they get rid of the old high maintenance vehicles & "plan to" replace them over the next 3 years, which makes it look like they save a bunch of money today
This part seems counterintuitive in Michigan where this will be 1st Presidential election since "no reason needed" absentee balloting became law:

"The Postal Service anticipates a substantial drop in mail volume and the long-term impact is forecasted to be significant."
Also is the "substantial drop" anticipated due to everyone abandoning USPS due to the long delivery times & "poor service" TRUMP HAS CREATED?
