My question, Mr. @johntory, is why, if you do indeed recognize that body cams on racist, violent cops doesn't make ANY cop less racist or violent by merely existing on their bodies, you are still committed to spending $34 million in public funds to buy @TorontoPolice body cams?
Particularly when there are people behind city hall EVERY DAY begging you to stop COVID-19 evictions, to provide safe washrooms and face masks and shelter and food for those who have been beaten down by this city, this country, and, unfortunately, by you, @JohnTory.
If you really care about the people of this city like you say you do - and I mean ALL people, not just the high profile Black folks you materially benefit from - do your fucking job and lead.
