{ A thread} When we try to measure holiness on a scale we turn salvation and spiritual maturity into a system of works all over again, by doing this, we reject grace and make it about performance again. The truth is Christ has made us absolutely holy [1 Corinthians 1:30] ...

Holiness is not what you do, or how much the good outweighs the bad. Rather Holiness is Christ, and in Christ we’re Holy & perfected [ 1 Peter 2:5/ Heb 10:14]
Despite how far we fall short of that is irrelevant because Christ choose to see us as perfect..

Your journey in Christ is not about working your way up to become more holy, rather it’s about discovering that Christ has sanctified us, purified us, in him we’re perfected and as we believe it, we then walk in these in-Christ realities !!..

Of course as we understand how holy we are in Christ naturally our actions will change, but don’t fall into the trap of thinking you’re earning your holiness by your own works [Ephesians 2:9]
....

And as you discover the truth of who you are in Christ, without even realising you find your behaviour changes because you’re now growing in understanding of what Christ has done in you
Rather than trying to do-it-yourself (works) which will lead to constant frustration

Prayer;
Lord, I thank you so much that you have perfected me & made me holy [1 Corinthians 6:11] and that my old sinful nature has been crucified and died on the cross {Colossians 2:11-12} and that my new righteous-self was raised up with you in Jesus name
[ Romans 6:4-6]
