Lets get started.
Set a timer.
Since you're new to this I suggest you set a timer for 5-10 minutes.

Find a comfortable and quiet place.
Sit in a chair or on the floor with your back straight.

Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Notice the sensation of your breath as it goes in and out.

Each time you notice your mind has wandered bring your attention back to the breath.
Don't judge the content of the thoughts just observe them.
