#Histmed colleagues: I'm looking for good literature on historical scandals caused by defective vaccines, e.g. the 1931 BCG incident in Luebeck or the Cutter incident in 1955.
I've got Christian Bonah's article, ‘“Experimental Rage”: The Development of Medical Ethics and the Genesis of Scientific Facts. Ludwik Fleck: An Answer to the Crisis of Modern Medicine in Interwar Germany?' in Social History of Medicine, https://doi.org/10.1093/shm/15.2.187.
And Paul A. Offit's book, The Cutter Incident: How America’s First Polio Vaccine Led to the Growing Vaccine Crisis (2005).

What am I missing?
This is for a student doing an MSc dissertation on recent problems with vaccines in China, so materials that are available electronically would be fab.
