This second lockdown is very difficult for many Victorians. It’s necessary, but it’s been very difficult.

I’ve had parents tear up in my consulting room just completely exhausted.

Many parents are at wits end with their kids and their work.
I have seen a huge number of psychosomatic illnesses. The waves of tinnnitus, dizziness & globus pharyngeus are relentless.

Kids with autism, ADHD, and other behavioural disorders are becoming difficult to manage.

My colleagues are getting snappy and temperamental.
People who kept their jobs in the first lockdown are now losing their jobs.

Loneliness is really affecting many people.

Health care workers are over it. They don’t feel safe doing their jobs.
The wave we expected in March is a tsunami that has hit us hard.

This is real. This is palpable. This is serious.

I have one message to fellow Victorians:

Be kind. We will walk through this together.
