Last week @jasonleitch and the SNP spoke to the footballing community as though they were immature teenagers that required “yellow/red card” analogies to get their point across regarding COVID breach punishments.
We have witnessed an outpouring of kindness by football fans & clubs over the past 6 months. Many who have taken the time, money and energy to donate PPE & others items to NHS staff and vulnerable people.

Some of which failed to be provided by the Scottish gov I may add.
Clubs, particularly Celtic, have made huge strides in ensuring football could be safe and ready and for the most part they’ve done well. 1 players actions, who tested negative, should not impact supporters or allow supporters to be treated differently.
Rugby, which is a full contact sport, will be allowed to go ahead as well as having fans enter stadiums. Don’t tell me this isn’t a class issue. The football community has always been viewed in a negative light by the SNP & the repeal of the OBFA still sticks in their throats.
Supermarkets no longer limit numbers, pubs and restaurants can operate with impunity as well as other industries so the idea that 1 player can suspend football is absolute nonsense. We are also one of the only industries that are testing twice a week.
It’s time for society and politicians to start treating fans as normal human beings. Scenes like the 1980 cup final no longer exist and more needs to be done to reduce the influence the police and politicians have over our game.
