For those eligible... (and we know so many aren't, continually ignored by UK government!) Self-Employment Income Scheme (SEISS) Round 2 is open. Here is some info on what you need + how to access the purposely complicated grant...
The scheme has a fair few criteria you have to meet - some included in the image below. You can check your eligibility here under 'Who Can Claim' >> https://www.gov.uk/guidance/claim-a-grant-through-the-coronavirus-covid-19-self-employment-income-support-scheme#check
If you previously applied the process is the same. You will need your Unique Tax Number (UTR) - you can usually find this on letters HMRC have sent to you in the past - this is usually in the top left or right hand corner. You will also need your National Insurance No. (NI)...
...Government Gateway user ID and password – if you do not have a user ID, you can create one when you make your claim. You'll also need a UK bank account inc. bank account number, sort code, name on the account and your address linked to your account.
Once you are logged and have submitted this info HMRC will let you know if you to be eligible + work out your grant (this is based on 70% of your profit average from the last three years). Once you've submitted your claim you'll receive an email to confirm your grant.
Payments take 3-5 days to land in your account. We really urge you to take the support if you are eligible. You have until 19th October to make a claim. *Send us an email if you are worried about it - we're here to listen!* https://www.gov.uk/guidance/claim-a-grant-through-the-coronavirus-covid-19-self-employment-income-support-scheme
