PIQUÉ: sources have said repeatedly over the last years that without him the "structure would fall down". This season he has been EVERYTHING in defense. Quick, a savior inside the box, capable of handling individually stampedes. He can't play every game again.

ALBA: not a glimpse of the left channel ownership he had in 17/18. Struggles to make a diff in attack in a 4-4-2. Doesn't help he hasn't had a partnership on the left. Sloppy passes + erratic ball control while running. Alternative: Firpo

BUSQUETS: far from his best since restart. The only player at Barça who sends the pressure line high. If the team does not press coordinately his workload goes beyond his physical capabilities. With Pjanic in the squad Busquets shouldn't play every game.

VIDAL: I've expressed the frustration of seeing him lose the ball and stealing it back as the attacking action wanes. He's been one of the best American midfielders of the decade, yet not qualified for Barça IMO. Thanks for the effort King.

SUÁREZ: it's like every flaw we spotted on him has been maximized by 10 since the restart. He suffers from a never ending knee issue, he has prioritized at times Uruguay over Barça and his link-up game is gone

MESSI: his stats would be different if he had completed an injury-free pre season. He does not have an explosive engine for 90 mins, all right. As Ramón Besa says Messi needs to feel young. Surrounded by Fati, Puig, Pedri, Griezmann, Dembélé that will happen.
