1. Thinking you deserve success when all you do is say you deserve success doesn’t do ANYTHING
- are you actually posting and creating content on multiple platforms

2. There are going to be other people that barely put in any effort and they are able to grow communities and have higher numbers for some reason

3. Think about how saturated streaming platforms are
- what are you doing that 99% of people aren’t?
- are you editing that video even though you’re super tired and don’t want to?
- are you reaching out to new people even though you might be anxious about it?

4. There are lots of vague and terrible streamer advice out there
why?
- because tbh no one really knows wtf they’re doing and when they do, they keep that info to themselves
- ppl may not admit it, but there are secret ways to gain traction that some may not want to share

5. The whole ego thing will bite you in the ass
- I’ve seen people gain a little success and let it start to get to their head
- acknowledgement of viewers goes down, respect and humbleness vanishes
But doing this will humble you once you drop right back down in viewership

6. Treat everyone with respect
- anyone who engages with your post or comments on something should get a response
- eventually it will be really hard, but you should never think you’re above and only respond to the big guy

7. Just doing the same thing over and over
- perfect example of what not to do
- the entire point of content creation is to be creative and test out new things

8. Get rid of the people you don’t gel with
- as a creator, you have dozens of things to plan, create and manage
- no need to waste energy checking on that person you hate
- block/mute them & continue with you’re own path
- surround yourself with people who discuss ideas not ppl
