I grew up in a village called #Zongoro. It is nested between 3 mountains (Jenya, Bingaguru & Rwatsumbu) 2 Rivers (Zongoro [from where the village is named] and Nyapande slither through the village, converging a few km west of the School, St James Zongoro.

After converging, the river is called #Zongoro, despite Nyapande being a bit more tolerant to the vagaries of droughts (now more frequent with #ClimateChange). Additionally, Nyapande is more deadly with various pools named after its victims, mostly males

#Zongoro River meanders for an additional 3km (estimate) passing through #Manica Bridge (should be Manyika ) and a number of shops and a clinic are named after the river. #Zongoro belching from the swallowing of a bigger stream, spews its contents into Chiodzani
