Pertinent to note that Sushant Singh family has won on all their pleas in the court. The Bihar government has won all their arguments too. The Maharashtra government and Rhea has lost their arguments.
What are points that were being argued in the Supreme Court.

I will also tell you what the Supreme Court said against each point.

This is not good news for the Mumbai Police.
Legal argument: Is the FIR lodged in Patna by Sushant's father valid and tenable under law?
Supreme Court: The Patna FIR is valid and there is no reason to cancel the FIR. The FIR will be admissible in a court of law.
(Note: There was no FIR registered by Mumbai Police)
Legal argument: Is it legally valid for Bihar government to recommend a CBI enquiry into the mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput? Hence, can the CBI legally take over the case from Bihar Police?
Supreme Court: CBI should take over the case and henceforth, will be taking over
Legal argument: Should Mumbai Police continue probing the case because they have been probing the case so far.
Supreme Court: The "inquest" by Mumbai Police can't be considered as an enquiry because it was being done under Code of Criminal Procedure (section 174).
Further...
Supreme Court: Mumbai Police has been directed to cooperate with the CBI.
The Mumbai Police has been directed by the Supreme Court to cooperate with the CBI investigation.
