When I started my spiritual discovery journey, I had to switch off completely all the songs I was listening to. Why?
I was at night vigil one night and we were asked to speak in tongues or whatever prayer language.
We were to zone out the noise and focus on Jesus. After 10mins I started hearing myself say “yaga” “iyeye”
Lmaooo I said no be Holy Spirit be this o. This is wiz spirit
I started flittering to the letter what I listen to and watch.
1. I stopped listening to rap music completely
2. I don’t watch movies that have high sexual activities because my mind is very graphic and it generally has a way of controlling my mind
When I invest such content.
I had to have a Frank conversation with myself. It was/is a deliberate effort with the Holy Spirit
