Ongoing review thread of hand sanitizers in the wild
This one. Fragrance: extremely strong on initial application, but fades quickly. Skin feel: cool and non-tacky. Overall B+ wish initial nose hit wasn’t so loaded

Number two. Same venue, different brand. Nauseating alcohol smell on first squirt. Smells like I just woke up in a booze factory. Slightly tacky skinfeel, but eye watering is worse. On plus side, scorching chemical scent makes me feel it’s working, but overall C+
Number three. A single squirt’ll do ya. Very runny liquid, one pump splashed all over my hands and wrists. Fragrance is moderately astringent and slightly herbal, but fades to a subtle rubbery scent on the skin. Terrible skinfeel as it dries, also rubbery. Overall a D not a fan
Number four. Someone told me last night about a mythical sanitizer that smells like tequila. I’ve found it. Pop a lime and some rim salt on this baby and you got yourself a good night. Great balance of liquid and gel; absorbs well; tacky dry-down only weak point. Overall A-
Number five. A classic. Fragrance is pleasantly tart, and not too strong. Texture: cool, nicely spreadable gel. Feels refreshing on application, but my hands feel squeaky dry afterwards despite the promised aloe. Still, good standby. Overall B+
Number six. No logo but it was on offer at Aldo. This is the worst sanitizer I’ve ever had. I hate this sanitizer so much it smells exactly like biscuits and vomit. Scent stuck to my hands for over an hour overall rating F still feel queasy
Number seven. Can’t give a fair review as the regurgitated baking smell of No. 6 was still wafting off my hands. Felt nice though, I’m sure it’s a perfectly normal and good sanitizer, rating N/A
(If you’re wondering how long I intend to keep this bit going, the answer is “we’re here now and Double Em doesn’t quit”)
