Time & again in the last 4 years, we’ve seen blue-state politicians fail to get stuff done, but get a pass because they criticize the boob in the White House. Time & again, we’ve seen Dems circle the wagons, right or wrong, when Trump attacks. Don’t make this mistake re blackouts

I mean, if we as Californians can’t look in the mirror and say that this state full of wealthy, successful, intelligent people should be able to have a modern power-delivery system, planned with forethought, and using world-class infrastructure, then we are really shooting low.

There are children who can’t attend their virtual school, struggling small businesses who can’t process payments, and elderly people dying of heat stroke because of the decisions California made, going back decades. Let’s be honest: we can and should do better.

It’s really sad to see otherwise rational people — who know this deep down — change their tune because the tweeter in chief criticized us. A rose by any other name isn’t more beautiful. Just because a jerk critiqued you doesn’t mean the critique loses validity.

Some might interpret this thread as a knock on clean-grid ideals. It's not. Some might think this is a subtweet on various politicians. It's not -- promise. It's a critique of the poor planning and ineptness of ALL the institutions in the state that have a role in power delivery.
