One of the hardest things for me is seeing my friends struggle so much with singleness, with wondering if they’re really worthy to be loved. I’ve never heard a sermon on the weight of singleness, but I could preach a whole series.

Even if no one has ever loved you romantically, you deserve love. You are loved. You can be loved. And people around you getting what you’ve prayed so hard for? You’re allowed to grieve, but don’t base your worth on what you’re not getting.

And if you’re struggling with loneliness and longing? You’re not alone. There are so many who have walked through this darkness you’re feeling who can hold your hand and help you through. Most of all though, Jesus can be trusted with both your dreams and disappointments
