in your fiction, do you ever feel a pressure to include cis or straight characters because too many queer or trans characters feels "unrealistic"? does it feel unnatural to you to try to fit these cishet chars into the narrative? do they feel like a chore? do they stress you out?
delete them. you don't need them.

you can have as many queer and trans characters as you want. every single character you write can be queer and trans or queer or trans if you want.

if you WANT to write cishets, great, but don't feel you HAVE to include them if they don't fit
some cishet readers will say it's unrealistic for everyone to be queer or trans, but they're wrong: the reason that a lot of us write casts of characters like that is because that's also the kind of social circle we keep - we reflect the people we love and want to love.
this is the same for writing neurodivergency btw. like you don't have to include NTs bc it's "unrealistic" to not have them

maybe it is unrealistic, but writing is a form of escapism, and frankly, the reality of cishet NTs invading our lives is not a positive one for everyone
