When you arrive at the restaurant
DO NOT “slide after arrival”
The moment you swipe that, it indicates that you’ve begun the delivery process
So DoorDash won’t send you another order for a double

And I get another order while I’m waiting for my current order about 5-10% of the time
Only “slide after arrival” once you’ve picked up your order and are ready to begin driving to drop it off
I guarantee you’ll get more doubles!

Once you get a double order
Always deliver the order with the larger subtotal ($) FIRST
Even if it’s farther away or a less efficient route
Why??
It’s no secret that bigger orders lead to bigger tips
So if one order is more likely to lead to a larger tip, prioritize it!
On a double- both customers see the same ETA
So if you can deliver one order before the ETA they see, there is a higher chance they’ll tip more!
