Confident enough in my multitasking skills that I can whinge and do at the same time đź‘Ť

As if the doing were optional 🙄

Just say what you mean "Shut up and get on with it", "I don't care about your valid concerns" & "It's great to hear inside insight from people I agree with" https://twitter.com/GarNob/status/1295799394038620161
It's "revealing" when someone says something I agree with. They're "dedicated" presumably unlike the rest of us slackers. It's "insight" when I agree with them.

Amazing how someone advocating for children's rights thinks keeping quiet & doing what we're told is a positive thing
The Implication that there's a cohort (a so called minority) just loudly whinging, but not doing, is hilarious.

As if spending your holidays shouting into a void is just great craic altogether.
As for the teachers that jump in to agree that their colleagues are just whinging?!

Disdain isn't a strong enough word.

You may be lucky enough to not worry, to not be high risk/have family high risk. But how dare you judge colleagues who worry. Empathy wouldn't go amiss
I'm lucky enough to not be high risk. I don't live with anyone high risk. I won't even be in school most of the time the first few months. We have a tiny amount of kids and a decent space.

We are LUCKY.

But I'll continue to "whinge" because not everyone is.
When first member of a school community is seriously ill due to COVID after we're back, I hope those calling out "whingers" reflect.

Their colleagues are home right now, unable to sleep with anxiety and updating their wills. Actual people, who are terrified.

Empathy, please
