thread on why bakugou WOULDNT say slurs because anitiktok is pissing me off,,,,
so i’m assuming the reason some people say bakugou would say slurs is because he is characterized as someone angry and a bully. to start with the background of this has to mention why he bullied deku. on the surface of deku and bakugou’s childhood it basically is that bakugou
bullied deku because he was quirkless. to dig deeper in that is to realize he didn’t just bully deku because he was quirkless but because he felt inferior to deku EVEN THOUGH he was quirkless. bakugou thought deku’s hand meant that he thought bakugou inferior and as someone who
needed his help, even though people told BAKUGOU he was better. to achieve this sense of superiority again he needed a way to push the only person in his life who made him feel inferior below him so he could unanimously BE above him. bakugou bullying deku was not discrimination
but pride. bakugou is NOT a discriminative character which is shown very clearly at the sports festival when he was one of the only people besides deku and aizawa to have valued uraraka as a serious opponent and not as a frail girl who deserved an unfair fight (anitiktok

another point to consider is that bakugou has ALSO gone through his own fair of trauma from being told hems something he’s not (a villain) and being shoved into a box and labeled too violent and hateful, wouldn’t exactly make sense to turn around and put that on others
