An introduction to Lil Wayne's discography (a thread)
Lil Wayne has a very large discography, which puts people off from listening it. This thread will show the highlights of his discography and which of his projects are worth giving a listen.
1. Tha Carter II.

Tha Carter II is relatively underrated and out of all the Carter albums contains his best rapping.

Standout songs: 'Go DJ', 'Best Rapper Alive', 'Fireman', 'Hustler Musik'
2. Tha Carter III

Usually being the album people associate Wayne with, this is his most popular album. This album has brilliant production, including the iconic 'A Milli' beat by Bangladesh.

Standout songs: 'Mr. Carter', '3 Peat', 'Let The Beat Build'
3. Dedication 2, Dedication 4

I consider these 2 the best out of the Dedication series. If you enjoy these, definitely listen to the 5 other installments.

Standout songs: 'Georgia... Bush', 'Walk It Off', 'Cashed Out'
4. No Ceilings

No Ceilings is a phenomenal mixtape. It uses autotune more compared to the Dedication series and Da Drought series, but he doesn't abuse it here, so it still sounds great.

Standout tracks: 'Run This Town', 'Poke Her Face', 'Wayne On Me'
5. Da Drought 3

This is a 2 side disc, and both sides are brilliant. If you're not into Wayne using autotune this is the one which uses the least of it.

Standout songs: 'Upgrade', 'Dough Is What I Got', 'We Takin' Over'
6. Tha Carter IV & Tha Carter V

As Wayne usually does with Tha Carter series, he made 2 solid albums with plenty of great songs. Tha Carter IV also has a deluxe with 3 extra songs also worth checking out.

Standout songs: 'Mona Lisa', 'Blunt Blowin', 'John', 'Can't Be Broken'
7. I Am Not A Human Being & I Am Not A Human Being II

These 2 albums are somewhat overlooked in his discography. Production is the weakest part about them but the rest is very solid.

Standout songs: 'Back To You', 'Hold Up', 'With You'
If you listened to everything on here and liked it, the next thing you should do is listen to the entirety of these following series:

-Tha Carter series

-Dedication series

-Da Drought series

-No Ceilings series
If you've gone through all that and consider yourself a Lil Wayne fan now, listen to his early career albums (as well as his work with Hot Boys) and the rest of his discography, such as:

- Rebirth (rock-influenced album)

-Free Weezy Album (aka FWA)
-Funeral (his latest album)
End of thread, enjoy listening.
Just a disclaimer, 'Go DJ', is not a song from Tha Carter II, it's from the very first Carter album.
