You may notice that we share stories from other online rock/metal sites. There are _loads_ of us, and we're generally on the same mailing lists from labels and PRs. The other thing we have in common is that almost all of us run these sites in our spare time (1/8)
As such, I doubt any site can publish every news item, every album release, every tour date that comes through. By sharing each other's articles we try our best to ensure the most important thing happens: bands' news gets out to you, the fans. (2/8)
We have a twitter list of these publications (MusicWebzines) which we add to when we spot such feeds and share posts as they appear or every so often when we have a spare moment. If you run a mag, blog, site... let us know and we'll add you! (3/8)
It would be great if other publications joined in. Not just sharing our stuff (please do!) but that of everyone else as well. Social media seems to do its best to squash the spread of news (facebook - grr) so let's help each other to help the bands! (4/8)
