Just hopped on a press conference call with the Yellowstone County Health Department and Billings Athletic Directors as they outline their plan for the fall high school athletics season. #mtscores
About 9 percent of cases in Yellowstone County are under 19 years old.
Yellowstone County’s plans to have high schools athletics with new regulations. Masks required during all activities for everyone except athletes while playing.
All involved will be screened before every practice and game and any mild symptoms will keep them out of activities.
Spectators will be prohibited.
They say scouts looking to watch student athletes would have to purchase the MHSA subscription to watch online. For now, they also aren’t allowed in.
Working journalists are with masks at all times.
*NFSH*, not MHSA.

Full teams will be allowed at an event. An exception has been made for *schools* and school based activities fall under that category.
Players and staff on bench need to wear masks. Only athletes who are actively participating can take masks off.
Screenings before practices and games will be conducted by the schools. Temperature checks are not required.
