It's my book birthday, and I am going to try again to do an acknowledgments thread. Yesterday's carefully crafted one got eaten, so I will do them as individual tweets rather than one thread all at once.
To start with, I have to thank my early readers and critiquers of THE VANISHED QUEEN, who were @karenbrylander, @laurasbadideas, @anyaselena, and @nfinitefreetime. Thanks to them for ideas, suggestions, and general encouragement.
My agent, the amazing @bredalot, saw what the book could be and took a chance on me, then sold it — to the equally amazing @navahw, who really midwifed it into existence. It was a privilege to work with these women.
The teams at @awfulagent and @SagaSFF were professional and excellent to work with. Special thanks to @madisonpenico, @alsoknownasLJ, copyeditor extraordinare Valerie Shea, and Rebecca Strobel.
The beautiful book design and cover are the work of Davina Mock-Maniscalco and Alan Dingman. I love how gorgeous this book is.
I am sure there were other people behind the scenes who were important, and I am grateful to them as well.

One of the elements of THE VANISHED QUEEN is the poetry of the executed poet Mikos Rukovili, and I was very fortunate to find the perfect poem by @JMMcDermott, who was kind enough to let me use it, and who is an excellent writer. http://jmmcdermott.blogspot.com/2017/10/sonnet-217.html
I also want to thank all the other people who provided encouragement, support, cheerleading, and friendship. Thank you all.
My family can't be thanked enough.

I also want to thank everyone who has reviewed, blurbed, tweeted about, or otherwise spread the word about THE VANISHED QUEEN. It can be lonely and depressing to write, and positive words mean the world.
