since march I've only read four books. "writers & lovers" and "lost and wanted," which @ayeletw gave me (❤️) and "real life" and "all adults here" which I got at @booksaremagicbk. maybe it's the contrast with all this time spent with my toddler...but they're all wonderful.
anyway, reading is such an incredible solace to me and I miss it so much and if you have time read a novel this week, you get to step outside and inside of yourself simultaneously AND sometimes have your brain changed permanently
these were the bookplates my parents gave me for my 6th (I think?) birthday, and I still think this is true
