can y'all please stop assuming that mentally ill people "show their true colors" during breakdowns and/or spells of severe illness. mental illness =/= true personality.

"trust me, I KNOW this person. they're evil because they acted out while they were sick. their medications and therapy won't help how EVIL they are. >:( "

and I'm not trying to say that mentally ill people can't be harmful or awful, nor can they blame their actions all on their illness. but guys.... you HAVE to understand that mental illness is ugly. it's not fun to go through for anyone, especially the person who has it.
