The rate of divorce in our society is very high which makes young people to be scared of getting into marriage. Our relationship with people(romantic or friendship) has become more transactional in the social media era which has done more damage than good.
For us to have a successful marriage it is important to know that both parties has a role to play. Don’t marry out of pity, beauty should not be the reason for your marrying anybody and trust me LOVE is never enough as well. A whole lot of things is involved in this long term
Commitment. Most of us have been seeing life from the social media lenses which is the focal point of meaningless relationships we are building. Some will prefer immediate gratification to building a good relationship that will propel you to greatness.
I don’t care what people tell you about how to make marriage work but the moment GOD factor is left out of that union then the ship is doomed even before it starts. If couples will follow the principle of God about marriage, if we have not see sin as a norm we won’t be here today
The only reason you are permitted to leave your spouse is if he/she commits adultery but remember also that as long as your spouse is alive, if you marry another person you are also committing adultery. Wife submit to your husband, husband love your wife is the law.
If all of these are part of the family, opinion will be respected, cheating won’t be part of the union, violence will be far from the house, there won’t be malice or any form of hatred.
