there’s this thing going around about RG uni’s and ‘lower ranking’ uni’s. I went to @leedsbeckett for my undergrad (I chose this uni for its astonishing creative writing course) and continued my MA there too, for the same reason. for the excellent guidance and 1/3

amazing lecturers. if there was funding available, I would 100% continue my PhD at Beckett. for me, the fact that I am not merely a ‘number’ but a person, is a big part of my loyalty towards the non RG uni’s. you should go with your right fit, always. 2/3

I am not less than anyone who went to a RG uni and my lecturers are honestly the most interesting and intelligent people I have ever met. this nonsense about RG vs former metropolitan uni’s needs to stop. it’s not funny to tell people they’re not ‘as good’. 3/3 - Aukje out.
