Last night, Luka Doncic hurt himself slipping on what seemed to be a wet spot.
Luckily he was able to return, but it put a spotlight on something I've been following during these bubble games: players seem to be slipping. A lot.

I hadn't brought it up because it seemed to be happening less in recent games, but then last night there were multiple instances in the Clippers-Mavs and Sixers-Celtics games where I saw the same thing.
Here Kawhi's feet come out from under him, like he's trying to stop on ice.

Josh Richardson's left leg just slides as he tries to plant and change direction.
The same thing happens to Kemba Walker's right leg as he tries to avoid the trap.
And there's a bunch more I've noticed during the seeding games, sometimes subtle, but all of them where the player's foot just slides in a way that we don't often see in normal NBA games.
It seems to me that players are slipping much more than during the normal season. I don't know if it's a result of fewer people mopping up, or something unique in the arena or floor conditions, but I hope it's a problem that can be fixed before someone gets seriously hurt.
