With Manchester United signing the extremely talented Filip Stevanovic from FK Partizan for a fee of approximately €12,000,000 let’s analyse why the serbian wonderkid has been brought to Old Trafford.
Stevanovic is a highly rated winger who has come through the renowned Partizan academy. He uses a supreme combination of agility as well as dribbling ability to easily glide past defenders when playing off his favoured left wing.
Additionally, Stevanovic boasts a very strong football IQ, he reads the game extremely well and can successfully play as a playmaker due to his great creative ability. Despite being only 17 years of age, Stevanovic made 25 appearances for Partizan in both Serbia and Europe.
Stevanovic is extremely successful at cutting inside from the left using his dribbling ability and creating opportunities for himself and teammates. This past season he registered 7 goals & 3 assists.
Further qualities which Stevanovic boasts include his ability to receive the ball deep and use his dribbling to transition into the final third to create scoring opportunities for himself as well as his teammates.
