Hibs V Motherwell

First thing I thought when I seen this fixtures was GOALS. Hibs were well known for scoring but also conceding a lot of goals last season and Motherwell have failed to keep a clean sheet this season.
In this game both teams only managed 2 shots on target
however Hibs total of 12 shots and Motherwell's 17 implies that both teams were creating chances but just failing to put them away.
Motherwell came the closest when White scored but it deflected off Seedorf in an offside position.
Doidge looked the most threatening for Hibs with
5 shots (1 on target , 3 off, 1 blocked) and Horgan looked dangerous creating 2 big chances.
Turnbull has looked better since his return following injury with 3 shots blocked and a huge 5 key passes.
Lang could also have scored early on but was denied by a great save from
Marciano and new boy Stephen O'Donnell had a good chance to score but put it just wide after a great ball inot the box from Turnbull.

I think this game had the makings of a high scorer but both sides just seemed to have no luck in front goal. I would certainly look to keep
hold of Motherwell and Hibs attacking assets. There's a reason why Celtic wanted Turnbull , there's no denying his quality , I think he will be a great option now that Motherwell are starting to shake off the cobwebs. I'd also point out that O'Donnell seemed to get in the box
may offer attacking returns in the future. His fellow RB McGinn also looked creative providing 2 key passes, another one to watch. This is the second clean sheet in a row for Hibs , defence is an area JR wanted to improve on and McGinn may be a good prospect.
