What is #Patriotism?
It is the quality of being patriotic; devotion to and vigorous support for one's country.
But is there more to it than a mere feeling? How do you show your support to your country? Let me share some of my views. 1/n

If you earn your livelihood with dignity & honesty and in your chosen profession or job or business you do not cheat others to earn those extra rupees..
..then you are a Patriot. 2/n

If you pay your income tax every year on time thereby contributing to the development of the Nation..
..then you are a Patriot. 3/n
..then you are a Patriot. 3/n
If you shape the future generation by inculcating strong moral values in your children, teach them the importance of respecting fellow citizens, the National Flag & Anthem, the Armed Forces and above all, the Nation..
..then you are a Patriot. 4/n

If you use public property as carefully as you would use your own property instead of burning or destroying or defacing it in any way..
..then you are a Patriot. 5/n
..then you are a Patriot. 5/n
If you follow traffic rules, throw trash in dust bins, give way to the ambulance, stand in queues and wait for your turn instead of jumping the line (unless there is truly ani emergency)..
..then you are a Patriot. 6/n

If you contribute in any way possible, big or small, for the betterment of your fellow Indians or the country by finding solutions instead of complaining how bad things are..
..then you are a Patriot. 7/n

In my view, mere chanting patriotic slogans on national holidays is not enough.
How you conduct yourself in your daily life as a responsible Indian with the awareness that you are part of this Nation, you ARE the Nation - that makes you a Patriot.
