Just read this interesting article by @nscalice - "marketing funnels vs. marketing flywheels"

Here's what I learned

THREAD ... 👇
The problem with funnels is that they lose their momentum at the bottom. As leads come in from top, the goal is to convert them into customers & then you're done!

Funnels are linear.

Why marketing flywheels? Because they have the power to fuel continuous growth
3 main components for a successful marketing flywheel:

a. Weight - what is your flywheel made of? solid metal? You can translate this into your product/service. If you have a great product/ service with happy customers, you have a heavy metal flywheel.
b. Force - this is your fuel - content, ads, offers, touchpoints. Every time a prospects interacts with your brand, it creates a force that propels your flywheel ahead.
c. Friction - this is product complexities & bad reputation. Friction is the enemy of every marketer. If you have unhappy customers, it will slow down your flywheel. Avoid friction at all costs.
Some flywheel examples:

HubSpot growth flywheel
Sparktoro content + SEO flywheel
Amazon growth flywheel
