Recently in a talk with YouTuber @dhruv_rathee on the topic of Bangalore violence, noted Muslim activist @TheWaliRahmani narrated a fake Hadith of a Jewish woman throwing garbage on prophet Muhammad ﷺ, which is unfortunately very popular among Muslims, despite being fake.

Here is the fatwa of a Darul Ifta regarding the authenticity of the same Hadith.

Another evidence negating the authenticity of this Hadith.

Sharing fake Hadiths is a grave sin and can end you in hellfire as is evident from multiple Ahahdith of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Another popular fake Hadith being widely circulated among Muslims and used to prove their patriotism to Sanghis & other islamophobes is this :–
"Hubbul Watan Minal Iman", which translates to "Love for your homeland is a part of your Iman".

Again, this Hadith is unauthentic.

A lot of muslims quote this fake Hadith to counter Feminazis who go about declaring Islam as séxist and anti women.

Fake Hadith on Lesser Jihad vs Greater Jihad :–

Islam haters label Muslims as jihadis & consider it to be a derogatory term for muslims, hence use it to taunt Muslims.
Apologetic Muslims use fake Hadith to distort the meaning of jihad in order to counter them.

Some ulemas(Islamic scholars) are of the view that such fake Hadith don't randomly pop up and gets circulated out of ignorance, but they believe that such fake Hadiths are intentionally manufactured & promoted by dedicated group of people & orgs., who (putting it bluntly)

hate the concept of Political Islam and find it incompatible with their idea of an ideal world.
