A few things sprang to mind when reading this. Could the csp not use its research funding stream and put a call out which seeks to address the literature gap re: the experience of BAME physios, with a commitment to act on the recommendations/ findings of that work?
You could require the application team be reflective of the diversity in the population, therefore also providing opportunities for aspiring researchers/leader from BAME backgrounds to gain experience which can then be used as evidence/outputs when apply for leadership roles
Obviously I’m not expert here but it would be great to see some action to address the issues this thread highlights. It’s fundamental for our profession and the care of our patients
