Not only has Bartomeu not resigned, he hasn't even advanced the elections. 15 March is the time frame that was initially planned. Never seen a president with this much audacity & not even 1 ounce of Barcelonismo up until the end.

What Barto did yesterday was basically say "it's not our fault, it's the players' fault". Messi is already furious, he feels the sporting project is shit. But now you're saying "we did a good job, but you guys were shit". How do you think Messi will react?
Barca could've transitioned gradually over the last few years & when you have Messi, you can still be competitive. BUT THEY DIDNT. And now they want to transition fully & Messi knows no way can they be competitive. So the result is he's going into a season knowing he won't win.
Worst part? The people making this transition are all stupid & clueless. If you told Leo this was a transition with Laporta & Xavi he would've accepted a white season. This is why I genuinely think Messi is out. Cant see him staying. Not even until 2021.
And this is where it becomes scary. A transition year under a clueless board with no Messi. If Pique thought we hit rock bottom vs Bayern he's in a for a huge surprise. I'm hanging on to Messi's loyalty (that people tend to abuse) because without him it's genuinely Europa League.
And this is not some fantasy. It was Barca's reality when Laporta took over. It's not something impossible. Anyway I think they'll buy Neymar to try to convince Messi. Once again looking for the quick fix that might give us 2015, but nothing will be fixed. No project, nothing.

I won't even comment on Koemen because no manager deserves to work in these conditions. Once again Koemen is proving my theory, only foreign legends accept working with these guys. But they'll end up getting blamed & used. Just like Abidal who was loved, now hated.
They say they expected more audacity of Setien, but on the day of the Bayern game they were leaking news of Koemen & Pochettino. It's like they genuinely sabotage their own. They plant this seed of hatred towards their own to protect themselves.
Now watch the campaign thats coming to destroy Messi. "He abandoned the club in crisis, it's better he leaves with his salary, he was the one enabling club de amigos". Watch this space, I know this club/board too well. Nothing is above them.
When some Barca fans wanted Messi out in 2017 it's not because they didn't love Barca. It's because they love Leo too much to see him receive 8-2. And now many accept his departure. They all share this 2017 sentiment. We are not failing Messi, we have failed him.
This is a guy that would've never left. You know how difficult it for a guy like Messi who loves the club, the city, who has a family with 2 older kids, to consider leaving just like that? I genuinely have no words.
I saw yesterday a twitter account say this board surpassed her expectations & she can now say they're the worst board in the club's history. Really? In 2020? That's where you drew the line? Is it the 8-2? Once again proving Barca fans are result-oriented.
This board has been acting like this since 2008, campaigning against the team & Laporta from outside. And since 2010 from the inside. I said it in 2015, the treble in 2015 is the worst thing to ever happen to the club. Id give it all back in a heartbeat.
We won that treble with the fundamentals that Laporta/Pep built, helped by Zubi's signings. People knew that. But their hate for Laporta/Pep/Cruyff was too much, they had to write stupid articles about giving Bartomeu a chance. Where's that article now Kevin Williams?
What's Laporta's plan? Cruyffismo. Thats all we need. Cruyffsimo & allowing the knowledgeable people to make decisions. That's how Laporta has always worked. Now I ask you, what was Bartomeu's plan? Treble & Trident (MSN).
That didn't bother you like Laporta's Cruyffismo. Funny. Well again, I hope you're happy. Now we have no treble (lol) & no trident. In fact we probably won't have Messi. But remember, Laporta had no plan. This is what happens when you're driven by hate.
We also have a responsibility when we have a platform to make sure we educate. It's one thing to be optimist with what you have. It's another thing to driven by hate towards those that made our glorious club more glorious.
Anyways the motion won't go through, the press know that Roche has big chances to be voted in in March & so they won't endorse elections now which would give Laporta the presidency on a silver platter. So all we can do now is wait & hope Messi changes his mind.
This was my last thread until March. Wishing you guys well. Don't get sucked in the Koemen debate. He's just another political pawn. #Mocio2020 or bust. If it doesn't go through, it's trophy less season + bye-bye Messi. That's what's at stake here.
I went into the Bayern game with the feeling I go into every Argentina match. They're favorites but who knows with Messi. And that's very sad. Argentina are corrupt, no money, no talent & no football connoisseurs. The environnement is toxic & driven by toxic pressure.
Barca are the best club in the world, we can form talent or buy any talent in the world, we can hire the best football minds (many of them are big Barca fans). And yet here we are, in Argentina's situation. With Abidal & Bartomeu. What a shame. Heartbreaking. Anyway
