Lalita: We are providing food to their doorstep, have been able to provide funds (INR 3k) for disabled, widowed women too. We were able to support 2 malnourished children by taking them to the hospital.

Q: how do SHGs alleviate pregnant women's fears of attending health centres during #covid?
Tulasi: We worked with ASHAs, ANMs, and AWWs to alleviate fears. We explain why institutional delivery is important, esp if they req. blood or other interventions. 3/6

Q:How did you organise your work during covid?
Sajini: We relied on technology a lot at the beginning of lockdown, we created a cyber group via Whats App. We used the CM fund for these activities. To enable children's education online- at 500 INR, we give families laptops. 4/6

Q: When you went to conduct surveys for ration cards etc, were you given any training or given any PPE equipment? What did SHG members do to reduce stigma?
Asmita: We were given registers, gloves, masks, and safety info (2m distance). 5/6

There is also some friction amongst members due to our differences- we aren't able to meet either and depend on phones alone. Makes it difficult. 6/6
